Kato Animal Hospital in Toronto is staffed by one full-time veterinarian and one part-time veterinarian, one full-time and two part-time receptionists, one full-time and one part-time registered veterinary technician, and three part-time veterinary assistants.

Dr. Christine Kato shares her life with her German Shepherd, Prince.

Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ontario Veterinary College – Guelph and Bachelor of Science from University of Toronto

Dr. Melissa White

Veterinarian

Dr. White began her career as an associate veterinarian in Toronto in 2011. Dentistry and soft tissue surgery have always been her passion, which led her to make a change in early 2020 when she began assisting with surgical cases at various clinics. One of these clinics was Kato Animal Hospital, where you can still find her today. In her free time, Dr. White enjoys traveling, yoga, spinning, hiking, reading, and spending time with her orange tabby Oliver and terrier mix Lucy.
