About

Lacombe Veterinary Centre has a long and proud history in our community, remaining locally owned and operated since our beginning. Dr. Ross Walton and his partner Dr. Ralph Barton first opened our doors in 1966 on the East side of town. As we grew, we moved to the West side on Highway 12 near the golf course. In 1996, we built a new facility and relocated to our current location on the North end of Lacombe along Highway 2A.

Our Approach to Care

Here at LVC, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians in Lacombe and surrounding areas. Our team works hard to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients. We want everyone, whether two-legged or four-legged, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. This all starts with a warm hello for you and a yummy treat for your pet.

Our hospital first opened its doors in 1966, and we moved to our current location in 1997. As an established practice, we offer a wide range of medical services for your beloved family pets, including medical, dental, and surgical services for companion animals in Lacombe. You’ll find us at 5828 HWY 2A, where we have ample parking within a safe, low-traffic area for your pet.

Dr. Cindy Nowle

Veterinarian

Cindy started working at Lacombe Veterinary Centre as a temp in January 2004 and has become an integral part of our team.

Dr. Jennifer Bieleny

Veterinarian

Jennifer grew up on the edge of the mountains in Hinton, Alberta. After high school, she pursued her passion for veterinary medicine.

Dr. Kayla Ziegler

Veterinarian

Kayla grew up on a small farm in Rimbey, surrounded by a variety of animals, which inspired her career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Laurel Arvidson

Veterinarian

Originally from the Lethbridge area, Dr. Laurel Arvidson joined the Lacombe Veterinary Centre, bringing her expertise and compassionate approach to our team.

Dr. Peter Lawson

Veterinarian

Dr. Peter Lawson grew up in P.E.I. and will always be a “Maritimer” at heart. He brings his East Coast charm and veterinary skills to our practice.

Dr. Skylar Bieleny

Veterinarian, Practice Manager

Skylar grew up in the small town of Killam, Alberta. His family operates a feedlot, giving him a strong background in animal care before joining our team as both a veterinarian and practice manager.
