Imagine a job consisting of days filled with laughing, tickling, playing, and baby-talking with funny, fun-loving, and mischievous creatures whose sole purpose is to have a good time. That’s what it’s like working at Queen West. Although there are moments of sadness and grief, we consider it a great honor to work alongside your dogs and cats. They make us incredibly happy. In fact, you can’t work at Queen West Animal Hospital unless you feel that tremendous joy. It’s that important to us.

French poet Anatole France once said, “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” We’re quite certain our souls are completely awake since we’ve literally loved tens of thousands of animals. Even the scared cats who won’t come out of their carriers or the dogs who bark and growl when we enter the room. We take time to connect with each one. It’s an enormous privilege that we never take for granted.
