Meet Dr. Yvonne Lee, B.Sc., B.V.Sc.

Dr. Yvonne Lee grew up in Toronto and discovered her passion for veterinary medicine during her veterinary co-op placement. Her experience working at the Toronto Humane Society further confirmed her love for animals and medicine.

A graduate of the University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science, Dr. Lee has dedicated over 20 years to veterinary care, focusing exclusively on dogs and cats. Early in her career, she gained valuable experience providing on-call services in rural Ontario, including in-home pet euthanasia and palliative care.

Dr. Lee deeply understands how comforting it is for animals to be at home with their families during their final moments. This perspective was reinforced when she had to say goodbye to her own family cat last year, peacefully helping him pass in one of his favorite spots at home, surrounded by his family. Despite the heartbreak, she experienced firsthand the peace that comes from knowing a beloved pet is no longer suffering and has crossed over with dignity in the company of loved ones.

Dr. Lee makes west Toronto her home along with her husband, baby daughter and two cats, Mortimer and Gilbert Blythe. When not providing compassionate care to pets, she enjoys playing sports, piano, and ukulele.
